Ultimately, all the energy, time and money that go into development and design of tall buildings is meaningless unless they can be constructed to the highest levels of quality and safety. The industry in general, and construction contractors in particular, must constantly innovative in order to meet the challenges imposed by busy urban sites, keen demand for flexibility in space planning and sightlines, and the race to complete before the construction loan must be paid off. The conditions are only growing more challenging. Fortunately, there are innovative and disruptive techniques meeting these challenges head-on. This panel explores the question, “what makes for innovative tall building construction?”
